Before purchasing, measure your kitchen opening, doorways, and hallways to ensure proper installation. Consider that the refrigerator door requires clearance to fully open, and the Zero Clearance design allows minimal wall clearance (LG recommends 4mm or 0.16 inches). With the door fully open at 90 degrees, the unit extends approximately 43.75 inches from the wall.
Choosing the right French door refrigerator
French door refrigerators offer an ideal balance of style and functionality for modern kitchens. The side-by-side upper doors provide easy access to fresh food items at eye level, while pull-out freezer drawers below optimize space and visibility. The counter-depth design fits seamlessly with kitchen cabinetry, creating a built-in appearance. This LG model's Zero Clearance innovation solves a common kitchen challenge by enabling installation in tight spaces without sacrificing door functionality. The dual ice maker and advanced cooling system work together to keep food fresher longer while providing convenient ice and water access.
Why choose a discounted refrigerator?
Discounted appliances offer an excellent opportunity to own premium-quality products at significantly reduced prices. Purchasing allows you to enjoy high-end features and reliable performance while benefiting from substantial savings.
Frequently asked questions
What does Zero Clearance technology mean?
Zero Clearance hinges and a thin door design allow this refrigerator to install nearly flush against the wall while still opening fully. LG recommends maintaining just 4mm (0.16 inches) of clearance between the sides and the wall for optimal performance. This design is ideal for kitchens with tight spaces or adjacent cabinetry.
How much ice does the dual ice maker produce?
The dual ice maker system generates up to 2.5 pounds of ice daily under normal operation, with the ability to increase production to 3.0 pounds daily when IcePlus mode is activated. The 4-pound capacity storage bin ensures you always have ice on hand.
Is this model energy efficient?
Yes, this LG refrigerator is ENERGY STAR certified with an annual energy consumption of 699 kWh/year. The Smart Inverter Compressor with inverter technology adapts cooling power to demand, reducing energy waste and operating costs.

This LG model’s Zero Clearance innovation solves a common kitchen challenge by enabling installation in tight spaces without sacrificing door functionality.
